Response to internet article
The article is one of disdain towards to current industrial manufacturing of foods, and primarily dealing with farms that raise and slaughter animals. The author claims that this new process of slaughtering animals is not only bad for the animals, but this is causing the food to become susceptible to becoming contaminated. Therefore, he believes that the FDA and government should focus on reviving the small and traditional farms in America instead of these farms that produce not such a high quality meat or egg in mass quantities. the author uses some pathos appeal, but he does not really focus on the animals too much. His main focus is conveying how harmful the food we are eating to us could be contaminate which would result in us being affected in years to come. I believe that his argument is convincing: however, i think that he should have backed up the article with a little more evidence because some of his article just seems to primarily be his opinion although it is most likely true.
